Start with what you can actually read
A single-ingredient treat lets you identify what it is made from. The product presented by Patanancha is dehydrated chicken feet. This simplicity makes the label easier to read; it does not mean the treat is suitable for every dog.
Natural still deserves a few questions
Before choosing, check the ingredient, manufacturer information, storage instructions and package condition. If your dog has allergies, a veterinarian-prescribed diet or chewing habits that concern you, ask for advice before introducing a new treat.
Treats complement their food
Treats are supplements, not substitutes for complete and balanced food. WSAVA recommends that they account for no more than 10% of daily calories. The right amount depends on your dog and the product's actual energy information.
